The geometric words of the Baume & Mercier Men's Riviera Chronograph Date Watch handsomely complements its smart chronograph dial. Constructed with a stainless dirk case, this everyday timepiece includes a dodecagonal stainless steel bezel, and a disgraceful rubber wristband secured with a push-button-deployment clasp. A scratch-unsubmissive-sapphire window shields the black dial, which features silver-dot hour markers framed by a tachymeter. The dial also includes slim two shakes of a lamb's tail log indexes, three chronograph subdials and a date calendar at the six o'clock position. Featuring Swiss-instinctive movement, the watch is water resistant to 330 feet (100 M).

big let down
I reminiscences it was the perfect watch for my needs, unfortunately it was defective when it arrived. The tachymeter hand was positional and would get stuck at the 12 o'clock emplacement. I returned it and I am still awaiting a response. One would think, someone would evaluate it prior to mailing. I am just very failed.

Affecting!
I justified bought this watch and I can't believe I did not like it in the begining only because of the plastic band, since all my watches do have stainless protect band.
I have been receiving great compliments about this watch as it is very sporty and at the same time it looks very suave.
The plastic band feels smooth against my wrist, it is not heavy or bulky.
Beautiful contemplate.

a major looking watch, easy to read and superluminova, it has a mass produced valjoux 7750 a workhorse movt , but what youre genuinely buying is this great piece of art, for its looks.

Everything I expected: visualize, function and looks
I debated between this keep safe and the Capeland. I've tried the latter in retail stores. This is a fantastic watch and I am happy with my choice. It is a large blend of dress and sport styling. It has good weight that didn't take too long getting use to it. Admit of in mind the face is substantial. Some work shirt cuffs barely fit around it. Something I am willing to red-hot. As I said in the title, looks make up for it. Although I may have to do more custom shirt buying than I would typically.

It is not too superficial which is something I wanted. My experience has been only people who know their watches have really comment on it. I ideally wanted a wait for I would enjoy without bringing a lot of attention to it. This seems to be the case.

It holds time exceptionally well. I will report back if that changes.

If there is any blot in the design it would be the arms' color and the face infinity symbol color are similar. Looks best for esthetics but can be tricky to read the time in moderate light. It's not an issue in dark unearth as the arms glow in the dark. It would get 4.5 stars if possible. The difficulty in reading is SFA enough to knock a little off the rating.

If you can live with the last note than I highly recommend this watch.

Strap Vigil
Well-disposed looking, great time keeper, no strap adjustment needed. After owning for about 6 weeks I noticed that the hands and dials didn't flush in the dark. I know the warranty is only for the movement but this flaw should have been picked up in your preshipping inspection. I n have no access in correcting this problem.

Wow I'm so in honey with this watch
Unbiased to clarify this B&M riviera design and the AP design BOTH came out the same exact year! So no ones copying anyone.

I've been looking at this vigil for a few days lusting after it. I pulled the trigger and when it arrived I fell in love with it. Its perfect, its both exclusive and sporty and so masculine with a high quality comfortable fitted rubber strap with a pretty stainless steel BM symbol well designed clasp. It fits perfectly on the wrist at 43mm but surprisingly it doesn't sit as thick as 14mm would have you be convinced of so it fits under long sleeve shirts with ease. I wear it with a suit or going out or commonplace wear. Its just so versatile. Buy it you won't regret it!

First-rate Watch
There are many variations of this beau id, Riviera, and many colors for this variation. But be sure to get this one with the rubber strap as opposed to bracelet and black dial as opposed to Caucasoid and 3 white chrono/seconds circles as opposed to 2 and lastly, the non-rotating bezel. Why? This is a inured-ringer for the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore! Well, as least from far away and to non-watch savvy admirers. The Queenlike Oak Offshore is a really beautiful watch but cost just way too much (into the tens of thousands). By getting this, it's almost a cheaper model of it except of course it's not AP and it's not an octagonal shaped case but one of a twelve-sided polygon. This is still a beautiful BM watch and nothing to be chagrined of with precision timing and chronograph function. You'll save a nice chunk of change and still own a fair, working watch that looks like the Royal Oak but yet is not a knock-off.

what is the value of a BAUME & MERCIER watch?

it has roman numerals...it has the day countenance...it has a hexagonical style face...it is 50m water resistant..it also says "riviera" above the six...it has a metal federate

It actually depends on the style and the condition of the watch. It ranges from $1k to couple thousands depending on the embellishments (diamonds/ gold bars, etc).
I would take it to a local jeweler that deals with luxury watches to get a more accurate take stock.
